Pearce runs campaign rooted in people, not profits in York–Simcoe

QUEEN'S PARK — Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner and Green candidate for York–Simcoe Matt Pearce released the following statement responding to by-election results.

“I want to say thank you to every single person who showed up to the polls today in York–Simcoe,” said Pearce.

“I know that the people of York–Simcoe care about making life here fairer and more affordable. We care about protecting the lakes, rivers, forests and farmland that make life here special. I will not stop working hard alongside my neighbours to fight for the things our community cares about.”

“I want to congratulate our Matt for running a campaign to be proud of,” said Schreiner.

“He is a true champion for putting people before profits. I want to thank him and his dedicated volunteer team for representing Ontario Greens with hard work and enthusiasm. 

Ontario Greens will keep working hard to protect the people and places we love.”
