• 2 Horseshoe Regional Representatives
• 2 Central Regional Representatives
• 2 Young Greens of Ontario (YGO) Co-Chairs
• 1 Secretary

* As an organization, we value diversity and want to ensure that the voices on our Provincial Executive reflect those of our amazing membership. For this reason, wherever two representatives are elected for a given role (e.g. regional reps or YGO co-chairs), we require that the two representatives be of different genders.

Nominations

Nominations for the 2026 Provincial Executive Elections are NOW OPEN!

If you would like to run for any of the above positions, you will need to submit a completed Provincial Executive Nomination Form by Friday, October 23rd, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT.

To be eligible to run for any position on the Provincial Executive, candidates must be current members of the Green Party of Ontario and must have joined no less than 3 months prior to the close of voting (i.e. August 28th, 2026 or earlier). Nominators

Regional Representatives: Anyone wishing to run as a Regional Representative must be nominated by at least 5 GPO Members from their region.

Young Greens Co-Chairs & Secretary: Anyone wishing to run as a YGO Co-Chair or Secretary must be nominated by at least 15 GPO Members from 3 or more regions.

Online voting ends Friday, November 27th, 2026 at 5pm EST. Mail in ballots must also be received at the GPO office by Friday, November 27th, 2026 at 5pm EST.*

*Paper ballots will be provided upon request to any GPO Member that requires one. If you wish to receive a paper ballot, please email [email protected] or call 1-888-647-3366 by Monday, November 2nd to request one. Please note that it is the voter’s responsibility to ensure that these arrive at the GPO office by the voting deadline.
