Bekkering’s campaign in Scarborough Southwest put people first

QUEEN'S PARK — Mike Schreiner and Green candidate for Scarborough Southwest Mark Bekkering released the following statement responding to by-election results.

“Thank you to every single person who showed up to the polls in Scarborough Southwest,” said Bekkering.

“People in my community are tired of the same old election promises that never seem to get done. I remain committed to a new way of doing politics—one that prioritizes a more equitable future for all Ontarians.”

“I want to congratulate Mark for running a campaign rooted in building a future where people come before profits,” said Schreiner.

“I’m grateful to him and his dedicated volunteer team for representing Ontario Greens with dedication to Green values.
