July 28, 2026
HAMILTON — Pascale Marchand has been named the Ontario Greens’ candidate for Hamilton East–Stoney Creek in the upcoming byelection.
A proud East Hamiltonian, Pascale is committed to making life fairer and more affordable in her community.
“I love my community, and I’m ready to fight to make it more accessible and more welcoming for everyone. Right now, people are looking for a government that will put people and the places we love ahead of corporations and billionaires,” said Marchand.
“With my community’s support, I’m ready to be their voice so we can make Ontario a place where every day people can thrive.”
Pascale is an experienced leader and advocate who has organized around issues affecting the local francophone, Indigenous and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. She has mobilized the community for active transportation, environmental justice, affordable housing and accessibility for all.
“Pascale is a passionate advocate for her community. She shows up for the people of Hamilton East–Stoney Creek—fighting for equity, justice and affordability. She knows that we must put our communities ahead of corporations to protect the people and places we love,” said Ontario Greens Leader Mike Schreiner.
Pascale ran for the Ontario Greens in the 2025 general election. She speaks both English and French.
