Ford gives in to Ontario Greens pressure on free rapid tests

QUEEN'S PARK — Mike Schreiner made the following statement in response to news that the Ford government will continue to offer free rapid tests at pharmacies and grocery stores until June:

“I’m glad that Doug Ford listened to my calls to continue offering free rapid tests at pharmacies and grocery stores beyond next week.

Testing should be accessible and convenient to everyone that needs it.

The Premier now needs to also expand PCR testing so Ontarians can stay safe and we can keep the province open.”
