Another Tragedy at Marineland. It's Time for Action.

GUELPH — Mike Schreiner released the following statement in response to news that a beluga whale and harbour seal have died at Marineland.

“It has been far too many years of tragic announcements coming out of Marineland. Enough is enough.

The Ford government must act now. It’s time to release the findings of their investigations into conditions at the park.

We need urgent collaboration with the federal government to ensure the remaining animals are relocated to a safe and suitable marine sanctuary.

These animals deserve better than ongoing neglect and suffering.”
