Ontario Greens stand against antisemitism

TORONTO — Mike Schreiner made the following statement in reaction to B'nai Brith's 2021 audit of antisemitic incidents:

“Ontario Greens unequivocally denounce the increase in disturbing antisemitic acts that have occurred in Canada over the past year.

I am disgusted and saddened by the fidings of B’nai Brith’s annual audit of antisemitic incidents that show 2021 had the highest number of antisemitic incidents in 40 years.

Incidents of vandalism, violence, harassment, and online hate aimed at Jews are completely unacceptable and have no place in Ontario, Canada, or the world.

Ontario Greens will continue to stand with the Jewish community across the province. We must turn words into action against hate.”
