Where is the vaccine plan?

QUEEN’S PARK — Mike Schreiner released the following statement regarding the government’s delayed vaccine rollout:

“We have vaccines, but where is the plan?

Many regions are ready to vaccinate seniors 80 and over. But Ontario’s booking portal is still weeks away from being ready.

This is a gross level of incompetence.

The province was supposed to have a plan by December. It is now March. Instead of spending the past months blaming the Federal government, Ford should have been coming up with a comprehensive vaccine rollout plan.

With the variants continuing to spread, we need to protect Ontarians in the most vulnerable situations by vaccinating them immediately.

So Premier Ford — where is the plan?”
