Real People, Real Solutions is a series of interviews with people who are making a difference in communities across Ontario. Hosted by GPO leader Mike Schreiner.
Small and medium-sized enterprises do more to create jobs, support sustainable local economies, and bring new ideas to market than any other kind. We need to keep supporting our local small businesses, especially those who are committed to making a difference. In this episode, Mike talks to Beth Timlin, founder of Grey Rock Clothing Co. Grey Rock wants to make a difference by selling stylish, sweatshop-free clothes that people feel good about and love wearing. They’re a certified B Corporation, working with fair trade and organic suppliers and have committed to paying their employees a living wage.
