Kitchener needs weekend GO train service

Commuters from Kitchener have gone too long without reliable weekend GO train service.

Every weekend, long lines form for GO buses only for many riders to be left behind when they reach capacity.

People in Kitchener rely on transit to get to appointments, errands and outings with friends and family.

Expanding GO train service to weekends would alleviate highway congestion, reduce pollution and support our local economy.

Tell Metrolinx and the Minister of Transportation that the people of Kitchener are still calling on the province to fulfill its promise of all-day, two-way GO train service along the Toronto-Guelph-Kitchener corridor. It’s time for immediate action, starting with the expansion of GO train service to include weekends on the Kitchener line.
