Protect tenant rights: Stop Bill 60
The Ford government’s Bill 60 threatens housing security for renters across Ontario at a time when we can least afford it.
With over 81,000 people already experiencing homelessness in Ontario – a 25 per cent increase in just two years – this bill will only make our housing crisis worse.
The Ford government’s priorities are clear: the same day they unanimously voted against MPP Clancy’s Homelessness Ends with Housing Act, which would create more affordable rental units and end homelessness within ten years, they introduced this bill that further destabilizes housing for renters.
Ontario Greens are fighting for:
- Real tenant protections that prevent unfair evictions and illegal rent hikes
- Bringing back rent control
- Building affordable housing that meets the needs of Ontarians
- A housing-first approach to address the homelessness crisis
- Security and support for homeowners and renters
We need your voice to stop Bill 60 and push for real solutions to Ontario’s housing crisis.
