The animals at Marineland need an action plan NOW

Since 2019, nineteen beluga whales, one orca whale, and multiple seals, sea lions and penguins have died at Marineland.

Enough is enough.

Whales and dolphins are intelligent, social animals that suffer in captivity. The surviving 30 whales and other animals must be moved to wildlife and marine sanctuaries where they’ll be safe from abuse and exploitation.

It’s time for the Ford government to lead with compassion and work with marine mammal experts, Marineland and the federal government to relocate these animals to sanctuaries that can provide the care they need.
