Instead of fixing this crisis, Doug Ford is propping up the rich and greedy by taking over land to build an airport and public waterfronts to corporate interests. Change won’t start with the government catering to the super-rich—it’s time to take our province back.

Take On Corporate Power: Terminate the $200 million public handout for a corporate-backed spa parking lot.

Stop Rip-Off Development: Reject the expropriation of waterfront land and block the conversion of community parks into playgrounds for private jet elites.

End Poisoned Politics: Overturn changes to freedom of information laws to expose how deep corporate welfare and PC donor and lobbyist influence run in this administration.

I am writing to demand that your government stop prioritizing PC donors and big corporations over the everyday Ontarians who build and sustain our communities.  The recent decisions to expropriate community parkland under Bill 110, sell off our public waterfront to a private spa, and shield these corporate deals from public oversight under Bill 97 all point to the same conclusion: in Doug Ford’s Ontario, the rich are getting richer while the system is rigged against everyday people. I am calling on you to: Immediately halt the expropriation of Little Norway Park under Bill 110 and protect community greenspaces from the expansion of Billy Bishop airport. Cancel the $200 million public subsidy for the luxury spa parking garage at Ontario Place. Restore complete transparency by repealing the provisions in Bill 97 that shield your office and corporate deals from freedom-of-information laws. Redirect infrastructure investments into affordable housing and public services that help everyday people manage the rising costs of a roof and food. The people of Ontario are your boss, not rich investors or corporate lobbyists. It is time to hold the rich and powerful accountable, stop the corporate gouging, and bring care back to Ontario politics.
