QUEEN'S PARK — Ontario Greens leader and MPP for Guelph Mike Schreiner released the following statement marking the first evening of Passover.
“On behalf of the Ontario Greens, I want to extend warm wishes to everyone who will be celebrating Passover over the coming week.
This evening at sunset, family and friends will gather for the Passover Seder and to celebrate the victory of hope, peace and freedom over fear and oppression.
This holiday provides an opportunity for all of us to take a moment to reflect on the importance of freeing all people from discrimination and persecution.
