Schreiner: Ford’s runway is running out

QUEEN'S PARK — Mike Schreiner released the following statement responding to Ford’s announcement that the province will take over Billy Bishop Airport:

“Doug Ford is using taxpayer dollars like his personal piggy bank for his every whim and fantasy. 

This government can find billions to buy airports and build islands, but there never seems to be anything left when it comes to the things that will actually make life better and more affordable for everyday people. 

It’s clear that Doug Ford is only concerned with mega projects that bolster his own ego and line the pockets of his wealthy friends. 

Ontarians deserve better. Ontario Greens will keep fighting for a province where people come first.”
