Ontario Greens open candidate nominations ahead of next election

QUEEN'S PARK — With a potential snap election looming, Ontario Greens have opened candidate nominations for the next general election.

“Ontarians deserve a government that’s working for them, not for well-connected insiders” said Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner.

“Greens are building a team that’s in it for you. We’re ready to deliver on more homes, better public services and real climate action, and I look forward to building the people-powered leadership team that’s going to get us there.”

Schreiner will be formally nominated as the party’s first candidate on September 27.
