The Huntsville High School (HHS) Eco Tribe Student Action Group was established in 2008 in response to students concerns for the environment. The group is made up of approximately 20 HHS students from all grades with 5 staff advisors.

As a group of engaged young people, the Eco Tribe has lead a wide variety of awareness campagins and youth symposiums. We have introduce the importance of using re-usable mugs, planted trees in our local community, hosted an extremely successful Environmental Film Festival spreading a positive environmental message to more than 1000 members of our local community and hosted more than 600 local students at an empowering and engaging Eco Summit.

As a group of very dedicated young environmentalists the Eco Tribe Student Action Group are passionate about environmental change and work to spread this message.
