About Pauline Thornham

Pauline Thornham retired from teaching with the Peel District School Board, after a long and rewarding career. She has lived in Brampton Centre for forty-four years.

Pauline’s education includes a B.Sc.(Agr) and a Certificate in Environmental Conservation from the University of Guelph, as well as teaching specialties in ESL and FSL.

She has been actively involved in the community, volunteering with such organizations as Sierra Club Peel, Brampton Environmental Alliance, Bike Brampton, and the former Brampton
Cycling Advisory Committee, now known as Active Transportation Advisory Committee, a committee of the Brampton City Council.

Pauline believes that Ontario politics would be greatly improved by adopting a form of Proportional Representation, and that it would go a long way towards levelling the playing field.
She loves the Earth and its inhabitants.

In her spare time, Pauline enjoys cycling, kayaking, walking her dog and experimenting with gardening.

If elected, Pauline would serve with pride as a member of the Green Party Caucus.
