A fly fishing enthusiast, a small business entrepreneur and a long time bank manager – Donna knows how to cast for success.
Raised in a small town in Northwestern Ontario, Donna completed a BSc Degree from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay and began a career in banking. As a branch manager both in small towns and in the GTA, Donna spent 28 years on the front line listening, understanding, and guiding people towards economic and business solutions.

As Chair of a local Food Justice Committee, Donna has combined her business acumen and passion for local food. She was instrumental in bringing together all levels of politicians, agricultural and business sector leaders and more than 60 Niagara citizens to discuss food policy during Local Food Week in 2015. An avid supporter of Ontario farms and families makes her a regular customer at local farmers’ markets, talking to farm families and enjoying the bounty of Niagara.
Donna lives with her partner of 40 years, Joan. She is a dedicated aunt to many nieces and nephews, and enjoys spending time in the kitchen with them. Donna welcomes your Green vote in the upcoming by election.
