Tara McMahon

I am passionate about the principles of the Green Party and deeply committed to the people of Scarborough-Guildwood. I believe Scarborough needs strong, future-focused representation at Queen’s Park-representation that truly understands the unique needs of our community while working for the benefit of all Ontarians. Together, we can build a better future for our children, our economy, and our environment by addressing real needs with bold, forward-thinking solutions.

Scarborough-Guildwood has been my home for over 10 years, and I’ve lived in Scarborough for more than 15 years. As a proud mother of three, I take pride in raising my 10-year-old twins here, in the vibrant community they’ve known their entire lives.

Professionally, I bring over 20 years of experience in construction, including work as a licensed gas fitter and BCIN HVAC designer, as well as 20 years in wholesale sales. I’m passionate about advocating for women in trades and have volunteered with various organizations-both professional and political-dedicated to creating opportunities for underrepresented groups.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring Scarborough’s beautiful parks with my children and finding inspiration in our community’s natural spaces. As your Green Party candidate, I’m committed to working collaboratively and advocating for a sustainable, equitable, and prosperous future for Scarborough-Guildwood and beyond. Together, we can create the bright future we all deserve.
