About Maria Legault

Maria is a dedicated advocate for environmental sustainability, community engagement, and responsible governance. With a background in project management and public outreach, she has worked extensively to connect people with policies that create meaningful change. Her experience volunteering with CycleWR and the Green Party of Ontario has strengthened her commitment to fighting for a greener, fairer future.

Maria believes that strong communities are built on transparency, collaboration, and bold action. She is passionate about addressing climate change, improving public transportation, and ensuring that Ontario embraces sustainable economic growth. With a history of working on complex projects and engaging diverse stakeholders, Maria is ready to bring fresh ideas and practical solutions to the table.

As a two-time graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Environment, Maria has spent her career combining research-driven decision-making with hands-on leadership. When she’s not advocating for a better future, she enjoys cycling, exploring Ontario’s parks, and supporting local businesses. She is excited to stand with the Green Party and champion a people-powered movement for lasting change.
