About Lori
Lori Borthwick is a community champion who has spent her career fighting for a fairer, more caring and climate-ready Ontario.
Born and raised in Sarnia, Lori has called the Bay of Quinte home since 1989. She began her career as a respiratory therapist at the Belleville General Hospital, where she worked for over 30 years.
As a frontline healthcare worker, Lori saw firsthand how the gaps in Ontario’s healthcare system are leaving everyday people behind. She is a strong believer in the Ontario Greens’ plan to invest in public healthcare and act on the social determinants of health.
Lori is a mother and a dedicated environmental organizer who has contributed to many local climate initiatives. She is an avid enjoyer of the outdoors and sits on the board of the Quinte Field Naturalists.
As MPP, Lori will work to implement the Ontario Greens’ vision to build a province that works for everyday people, not for wealthy insiders.
