Linda Rice



Linda was raised in Scarborough and has lived in the Scarborough-Guildwood riding for over 10 years.  Linda has focused her volunteer activities on issues she is passionate about. As President of the North Toronto Business and Professional Women’s Club (BPW) since 2010, she has advocated for issues such as pay equity, ending violence and harassment; child care; missing and murdered indigenous women, preservation of our water resources; housing issues; accessible transportation and caregiver benefits. Linda was honoured with the Leadership award by the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario in 2013.

She holds a condensed MBA in project management and has worked for non-profit organizations such as Ronald McDonald House Charities and Geneva Centre for Autism and on government projects like eHealth Ontario.

Linda’s father died in 2017 and her experience in nursing him and dealing with his health issues provided her with direct and compassionate experience on what works (and what doesn’t) with senior’s health management.

Recently retired, Linda continues to support non-profit organizations with memberships in; Equal Voice, Kiva Microfunds and CARP (formerly Canadian Association for Retired People).

Linda is a certified scuba diver, golfer, skier and bowler and enjoys travelling whenever she can.
