Janet Errygers

Janet Errygers is a 33 year old veteran candidate, with four elections under her belt, including two at the provincial level. 2025 is Janet’s third time as a candidate for the Green Party of Ontario. During her first election in 2018, Janet received the highest number of green votes across Hamilton’s five ridings. She has campaigned in elections at each level of government and has a proven understanding of how the system works. Janet grew up in Greensville and has lived for most of her life in the Flamborough-Glanbrook riding. She has two sons, Liam and Lane. Janet has a Master’s degree from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences degree from the University of Guelph.

Janet has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for seven years and aims to bring what she has learned about organization, efficiency, and accountability – as well as her notable project management skills – to Queen’s Park. Janet is troubled by the trajectory we are on as a province and country; she feels that many of our elected officials do not maintain an appropriate level of professionalism or commitment to solving the issues we face today. Janet is ready to put in the hours to ensure a better future for Ontario.
