David Jakubiec

David was raised in Newmarket and is a Developmental Services Worker. Throughout his career, David has helped numerous individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities live as
independently as possible. This includes outings into the communities of Newmarket and Aurora. Furthermore, David graduated from the Toronto Metropolitan University in Social Work.
David is passionate about social justice and mental health. He brings passion, loyalty, compassion, and empathy to his personal life, and professional life and will continue to do so,
moving forward.

David values his family and his community. He has volunteered in the community for different organizations and will continue to do so. One of his passions is Junior Hockey. One of David’s
favorite sayings is “Reach for the moon, you might catch a star!”
