Brayden Wagenaar

I have spent over a Decade of my life listening to the lives and stories of thousands of people from so many different walks of life. I found so much passion in helping others, whether literally or through helping their voice be heard. This has led me to where I am now. This region has given me so many opportunities to grow and succeed. Whether through my time in Communitech and the accelerator center working on an AI-driven startup or through my work in video production with companies throughout the region, Ontario, and beyond. This led to me starting my own production company in 2019. I have been privileged to serve Ontario and its many communities, businesses, and people for years, but I think more can be done. Working with the Green Party I truly believe that this is a group of passionate people like myself who deeply care about their communities and think it’s about time the stories of those who feel neglected and left behind by their government are heard.

My favorite quote from a party member that inspired me was this: “People feel hopeless because when most people hear the word Hope, it’s just a buzzword. But for us, Hope is knowing that we can directly affect and better our future and the future of those around us”
