Andrew Armstrong

Andrew Armstrong, a Restaurant Manager, and dedicated volunteer, has called Don Valley North home since he was 6 years old. He’s running to encourage sustainable development & growth within his community, to ensure that Ontario will be a vibrant & prosperous home for generations to come.

His experience volunteering with youth programs in the community, including the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program, and youth sports organizations within Don Valley North and beyond, gives Andrew perspective on the challenges that people are facing in Ontario today.

He understands that young people are facing an uncertain future right now, and that the government needs to listen to these concerns, and ensure that future generations have a fair access to the resources & opportunities needed to both survive, and thrive.

Andrew believes that the key to a prosperous future is through environmental sustainability, and that the climate emergency we are facing needs to be addressed together. While Doug Ford encourages the expensive removal of bike lanes throughout our city, and funds highway projects that will only worsen the traffic situation that we all face; Andrew will be a champion for environmentally friendly transportation that will get Ontario moving, without the need for gridlock and costly environmental consequences.
