Good things grow in Ontario, but if Doug Ford has his way, that will change.
Ford’s misguided and hugely expensive need to build highways and pave over precious Ontario farmland will not only mean more cars on the road and pollutants in the air, but we’ll see less home-grown food on our tables.
This year Halton Regional Council will vote on the fate of 5,000 acres of farmland in the GTA. If the council rejects the sprawl, it will be in defiance of Ford’s plan to put more money in the pockets of his developer friends.
Join us and tell Ford to stop the sprawl and protect Ontario farmlands now.
