ELORA — Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner visited local candidate and Centre-Wellington councillor Bronwynne Wilton for a ‘Super Saturday’ Social and community canvass to encourage rural communities to vote Green.
The campaign is building on significant momentum and has talked to thousands of voters who want someone who will represent their local needs. Volunteers and donors are rallying behind Bronwynne as the only candidate who can beat the PC and is willing to speak up for her community.
“These next few days are crucial for our community,” said Wilton. “Our farmland, our local businesses, and rural health care are on the line in this election. As your MPP, I promise to keep standing up for rural communities and to put your priorities ahead of party politics and corporate agendas.”
“Everytime I come to Wellington-Halton Hills I continue to be impressed by Bronwynne’s determination to stand-up for farmers, small businesses, and rural communities,” said Schreiner.
“While Doug Ford wastes billions on tunnels and foreign-owned spas, Bronwynne is fighting to keep rural hospitals open. While Ford pushes forward with his reckless plan to pave over our farmland, she’s standing up to protect our food security.
“Rural Ontario needs more local champions like Bronwynne and I can’t wait to see what she’ll accomplish at Queen’s Park.”
