Michael Holbrook nominated as Ontario Greens’ candidate in Hastings–Lennox and Addington

MARMORA — Michael Holbrook has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate in Hastings–Lennox and Addington.

Holbrook is a proud “blue-collar Green” who spent decades working on construction sites across Ontario and Canada. He first came to Marmora in 2006, when he fell in love with the community and the land.

“I believe that rural communities like Hastings–Lennox and Addington deserve better than Doug Ford,” said Holbrook.

“The Ontario Greens understand the important contributions rural communities like ours make to the economy and have a real plan to address our priorities. I’m proud to stand with them in this election.”

“Michael believes that the voices of everyone in Ontario, especially those from rural communities, deserve to be heard at Queen’s Park,” said Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner. “I know he’ll be a strong advocate for Hastings–Lennox and Addington and rural communities across the province.

Holbrook has five children and two grandchildren.
