“Just insulting”: Schreiner on Doug Ford’s tunnel vision

PARRY SOUND — Ontario Greens Leader Mike Schreiner released the following statement in response to Doug Ford’s promise to build a tunnel under Highway 401.

“Ontarians don’t want a tunnel under the 401. They don’t want Doug Ford to keep throwing money at the GTA when the rest of the province doesn’t have affordable homes or healthcare.

That Doug Ford would throw out this idea with no cost estimate and no timeline is just insulting to the people of this province.

Doug Ford does not have a serious plan to deal with the problems Ontarians are facing. He has abandoned the people of this province while the cost of living skyrockets. Ontario Greens have a different plan. We’re fighting to build more homes, fix the healthcare crisis and bring back fairness to Ontario’s economy.”
