Jessica Riley nominated as Ontario Greens candidate in Kitchener South–Hespeler

KITCHENER — Jessica Riley has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate in Kitchener South–Hespeler.

Riley has an honours degree in Business Administration and works for a company that specializes in international sustainable food packaging.

She’s a dedicated environmental advocate and first became involved in Green politics in the 2021 federal election. Since then, she’s been actively involved with the Ontario Greens and volunteered with Kitchener Centre incumbent MPP Aislinn Clancy’s 2023 by-election campaign.

“We need a government willing to take strong climate action and to stand up for the people and places we love,” said Riley.

“Jessica is a determined environmental advocate and active member of her community,” said Ontario Greens’ leader, Mike Schreiner.

“She understands the issues and concerns top of mind for people in Kitchener and I know she’ll be a strong independent voice for her community.”

Riley is the proud parent of an energetic toddler.
