Anna Gorka nominated as Ontario Greens candidate in Parkdale–High Park

TORONTO — Anna Gorka has been nominated as the Ontario Green’s candidate in Parkdale–High Park.

Gorka is formerly a full time architect that now takes on design projects, flood mitigation work and farm work. She’s an active community leader who has chaired councils and co-ops. She also helped found the Willowdale Climate Roundtable in North York.

“People in Parkdale–High Park need an experienced advocate for housing and rentals who can talk shop within legislative committees on housing, infrastructure and flood preparation,” said Gorka.

“I’m also committed to addressing food insecurity in our communities. As MPP, I’ll build a school lunch program to connect our schools with local farms. By sourcing more food locally, we can support our communities and stand up for farms in the Greenbelt.”  

“Anna is a community-minded advocate who cares deeply about the needs and priorities of people in Parkdale-High Park,” said Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner. “I know she’ll be a strong advocate for this community.”

Gorka is the proud mother of three children.
