Mike Schreiner in Hamilton for regional campaign launch
February 6, 2025
HAMILTON — Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner was in Hamilton with local candidates Lucia Iannantuono (Hamilton Centre), Guy Bisson (Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas), Pascale Marchand (Hamilton East–Stoney Creek), and Kyle Hutton (Burlington) for the Ontario Greens’ official Hamilton campaign launch.
The Ontario Greens’ Hamilton region candidates are committed to addressing local issues including the housing affordability crisis, highlighting the Ontario Greens’ plan to build more homes within existing urban boundaries.
“Our team here in Hamilton is ready to respond to the issues top of mind for people in their communities,” said Schreiner. “I’m impressed by the strong group of candidates we have here in the Hamilton region and their dedication to working together to tackle Hamilton’s affordable housing crisis.”
“Our candidates are hard-working community leaders. They’re people you can trust to address your priorities, and exactly what people in Hamilton need to get back on their feet after enduring 7 years of Doug Ford’s abandonment.”
Before stopping in Hamilton, Schreiner was in Guelph to highlight the Ontario Green’s plan to immediately double the Ontario Disability Support Program and Ontario Works rates to end legislated poverty.
Tomorrow, he’ll be in Parry Sound–Muskoka with Deputy Leader Matt Richter for a major announcement about making life more affordable.
