Stephen Higgins nominated as Ontario Greens candidate in Essex

TORONTO — Stephen Higgins has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate in Essex.

Higgins is a longtime Kingsville resident and dedicated local business owner.

“I believe that building the homes we need to create growth while preserving our rich farmland is the key to unlocking the full potential of our riding – and Ontario Greens have the best plan to do just that” said Higgins.

“Doug Ford has ignored the needs of people in our community for too long, leaving far too many people in Essex without a family doctor. We need a representative who will address local priorities like access to health care, including mental health care.”

“Stephen is a hard working local champion, someone people in Essex can trust to put their needs above party politics,” said Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner.

“I know he’ll be a strong independent voice for his community at Queen’s Park.”
