Mike Schreiner travels to Orangeville to join former Mayor Sandy Brown in Dufferin–Caledon Canvass
February 3, 2025
ORANGEVILLE — Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner was in Dufferin–Caledon to canvas Orangeville neighbourhoods alongside local candidate and former mayor, Sandy Brown, highlighting how Greens will offer strong, local leadership in rural communities abandoned by Doug Ford’s government.
“Our communities have been pushed to the breaking point after seven years of Doug Ford and Sylvia Jones’ neglect,” said Brown. “While they waste billions on projects like Highway 413 that will pave over prime farmland, people in our riding are worried about getting in to see a doctor, finding schools and affordable day cares for their kids.”
“Sandy is a local champion – deeply familiar with the challenges facing everyday people in Dufferin–Caledon, and during his four years as mayor worked tirelessly for his community,” said Schreiner. “He will do the same as MPP.”
“Sandy’s not working for me, he’s not working for a political party, he’s working for the people of Dufferin–Caledon.”
Next, Schreiner will be in Kitchener alongside Deputy Leader Aislinn Clancy to make a major housing announcement.
