Lucas Graham nominated as Ontario Greens candidate in Peterborough-Kawartha

January 30, 2025

PETERBOROUGH — Lucas Graham has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate in Peterborough-Kawartha.

Graham is a Trent University graduate and local entrepreneur from Peterborough. He’s the owner and founder of Countdown Creative, an independent marketing and web design agency that supports non-profits. He’s proud of providing pro-bono services for causes that make a positive difference in his community.

He’s an active community volunteer and helped found Volunteer Peterborough to connect people in his community with meaningful volunteer opportunities.

“I know just how much can be accomplished when we work directly with people in our communities,” said Graham.

“While Doug Ford’s busy wasting billions on projects in the GTA, I’m committed to staying focused on the needs of our local community and priorities like affordable housing, access to health care and building a more equitable economy.”

“Lucas understands what it means to put people before profits because it’s something he does everyday through his work for his local community and his commitment to volunteering,” said Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner.  “He’ll be a strong advocate for people in Peterborough–Kawartha at Queen’s Park.”

Graham is also an advocate for income equality and serves as the Communications Chair for the Basic Income Peterborough Network.
