Leah Tysoe nominated as Ontario Greens candidate in Eglinton-Lawrence
January 29, 2025
TORONTO — Leah Tysoe has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate in Eglinton-Lawrence.
Tysoe is a dedicated volunteer in her community and the wider GTA. She has played active leadership roles with the MS Society and Transition Treemobile and is known for holding free workshops for people interested in learning to grow their own food. She was the Ontario Greens’ candidate for Eglinton-Lawrence in the 2022 election.
“I’m excited to stand, once again, with the Ontario Greens in this upcoming election,” said Tysoe. “I’m tired of watching politicians put their jobs ahead of their communities.”
“Leah is a dedicated community volunteer,” said Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner. “She’s someone you can trust to put forward real solutions to address food insecurity and housing affordability by putting people before profits.”
Tysoe is also a lead organizer for MS Bike and Walk events around Ontario.
