Joshua Miersch nominated as Ontario Greens candidate in Don Valley East

TORONTO — Joshua Miersch has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate in Don Valley East.

Miersch is a maintenance technician, an environmental studies student at York University, and an aspiring high school teacher from Don Valley East. He’s a dedicated community volunteer and a passionate advocate for environmental and social justice.

“I’m committed to building a fairer, greener future for our community and for people across Ontario,” said Miersch.

“We need someone we can trust to find sustainable solutions to address our community’s need for more affordable housing and better transportation planning.”

“Joshua is a hard worker with a proven track record of volunteer service in his community” said Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner. “He’s someone you can trust to get things done and to put people before profits.”

Miersch can’t wait to connect with voters on the campaign trail to continue learning about the priorities and concerns of people in Don Valley East.
