Brayden Wagenaar nominated as Ontario Greens candidate in Kitchener–Conestoga
January 10, 2025
KITCHENER — Brayden Wagenaar has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate for Kitchener–Conestoga in the upcoming provincial election.
Wagenaar has called Kitchener home for over a decade and has 10 years of experience working in the marketing and video production industry. Since starting his own production company in 2019 alongside fellow Conestoga college graduates, he’s worked tirelessly to amplify the voices of businesses in Kitchener, Ontario, and beyond.
“I’m looking forward to working with the Greens to represent people who feel left behind by the government,” said Wagenaar. “I know that, together, we can do more to serve our communities. Kitchener is my home and has given me so many opportunities to grow and succeed, including at the local tech accelerator Communitech, and I am excited to give back to the community that has given me so much.”
“Brayden is passionate about being a voice for Ontarians who feel abandoned by the government,” said Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner. “He believes in the Ontario Greens’ vision of a fairer, more sustainable future and I know he’ll be a strong voice for Kitchener–Conestoga at Queen’s Park.”
