Ontario Greens announce Co-Campaign Directors for the next provincial election

January 7, 2025

TORONTO — The Ontario Greens have announced Bianca Bell and Samantha Bird as their Co-Campaign Directors for the upcoming provincial election.

“I know that our campaign is in good hands,” said Ontario Greens’ leader Mike Schreiner.

“During my time with the Ontario Greens, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Samantha and Bianca and I know that they’re ready to take on this important role to help us elect more Green MPPs at Queen’s Park.”

Prior to joining the Ontario Greens as Schreiner’s Chief of Staff in 2020, Bell worked as a labour lawyer where she advocated on behalf of employees and trade unions. She’s an alumni of York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School and an experienced campaigner with experience working on winning Green Party campaigns in Guelph, Kitchener, and British Columbia both provincially and federally.

Bird brings over a decade of experience with the Ontario Greens to her new role. Bird played a key role in developing the Ontario Greens’ platform and legislative agenda, serving as the party’s Policy Director and, most recently, as Chief of Staff to Mike Schreiner and Aislinn Clancy at Queen’s Park. Her expertise in political strategy and team mobilization will be a vital asset to the success of the Ontario Greens in the upcoming election.

The Ontario Greens are already in a strong position for the upcoming election. After breaking multiple fundraising records in 2024 and Q4, the Co-Campaign Directors will ensure the party continues to build on this momentum and is ready to hit the ground running when an election is called.
