Zachary Typhair nominated as Ontario Greens candidate in Kingston and the Islands

KINGSTON — Zachary Typhair has been nominated as the Ontario Greens’ candidate for Kingston and the Islands in the upcoming provincial election.

Typhair grew up in Kingston and has a deep understanding of the issues that matter most to people in his community. He’s serious about tackling income inequality, building more affordable homes, and building a sustainable future for his generation and generations to come.

“I’m committed to building a fairer, greener future for my community and for people across Ontario,” said Typhair.  

“I’ll always advocate for fair policies that serve you and not large corporations.”

“Zachary is a dedicated community leader committed to putting people before profits,” said Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner. “I know he will be a strong voice in Kingston and the Islands.”

Typhair currently works as an insurance agent and was an Ontario Greens’ candidate in the last provincial election. He has experience running federal and municipal campaigns.
