Christian Proulx named Ontario Greens candidate in Ottawa-Vanier

OTTAWA — Christian Proulx has been named Ontario Greens’ candidate for Ottawa-Vanier in the upcoming provincial election. 

Born and raised in Ottawa, Proulx is an experienced construction supervisor and foreman of plumbing and piping trades who previously ran for the Ontario Greens in 2022.

“The Ford government has abandoned our community on everything from healthcare to housing,” said Proulx. “I’m running because I want to bring honesty, integrity and collaboration to the government so we can get more done for our city and beyond.”

“While the Premier is preoccupied with ripping out Toronto bike lanes, I’m focused on the things our community really needs – affordable homes, better healthcare and an end to oil and gas greed.”

“Christian is a real leader who understands the importance of working together to solve our communities’ greatest challenges,” said Ontario Greens Leader Mike Schreiner. “He puts people before profits every single day, and I know that his positive attitude and commitment to his community will serve the people of Ottawa-Vanier well.”
