QUEEN'S PARK — Ontario Greens Leader Mike Schreiner released the following statement in response to news that Premier Doug Ford has appointed two new parliamentary assistants.
“With this latest round of appointments, there are hardly any members left in Doug Ford’s caucus that don’t have some sort of special appointment.
The Premier is running the most expensive caucus in Ontario history on taxpayers’ dime. And all for what? They’re not building more homes or fixing the family doctor shortage. Is that what financial responsibility looks like?
This is not a government that cares about you. We have a Premier that repeatedly puts his friends and donors ahead of the people of Ontario. Enough is enough – it’s time to put people before insiders.”
