“This is about a government that gives a damn”: Mike Schreiner speaks at ETFO annual meeting

TORONTO — Ontario Greens Leader Mike Schreiner gave remarks on behalf of the Ontario Greens at ETFO’s annual meeting in Toronto today.

“When I talk to educators in this province, they tell me that they’re burnt out and tired of a government that disrespects them,” said Schreiner. “The Ontario Greens will work with you to change that.

“We will work with you to ensure we have a government that makes the investments we need to lower class sizes. That makes the investments we need in special education, social workers and other support staff. That makes investments we need to address the levels of violence in our classrooms.

“This is about a government that gives a damn about the things that we value in our communities.”
