Ontario Greens bring annual convention to Kitchener
September 18, 2023
KITCHENER — Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner will join party members from across the province for a three-day convention and strategy session as part of the campaign to elect Aislinn Clancy as Ontario’s next Green MPP.
“For the past year, Ontario Greens have been laser-focused on holding the Ford government accountable for their $8.3 Greenbelt scandal,” said Schreiner.
“Now, with the return to Queen’s Park just around the corner, we’re gathering Greens from across the province to prepare for another year of protecting the people and places we love.
“Our first order of business? Sending Aislinn Clancy to Queen’s Park as the MPP for Kitchener Centre.”
“For months, our team has been busy building an unstoppable campaign,” said Clancy, Ontario Greens’ candidate in the upcoming Kitchener Centre byelection.
“We’re ready to bring Kitchener’s voice to Queen’s Park, and I’m excited to welcome Greens from across the province to Kitchener to join the movement.”
The convention will include the following events which are open to media:
- Saturday, September 23: Leader’s Keynote Address by Mike Schreiner
- Saturday, September 23: All-out canvass to listen to voters with Aislinn Clancy and Mike Schreiner
- Saturday, September 23: Victor Doyle, lead Greenbelt planner, in conversation with Mike Schreiner
