An anti-climate Premier cannot be a national unifier

“It is hypocritical for the Premier to say he wants to build national unity while at the same time he sues the federal government over pollution pricing. 

This is political opportunism rather than a genuine attempt to bring the country together. 

Mr. Ford has put himself squarely in the camp of conservative Premiers who want to sabotage climate solutions. 

Instead of respecting the will of voters like he said he would, he is plowing ahead with his politically motivated lawsuit, playing politics with our children’s future. 

Mr. Ford’s vision of national unity is an entire country that slides backwards on climate action and that rips up environmental protections, just like he has done in Ontario. 

A Premier that sabotages climate solutions  cannot be a good builder of national unity.”
