This 14% raise for senior bureaucrats speak volumes about where front-line workers rank on Ford’s priority list.

After capping public sector wages increases at 1% and drawing a hard line on the salaries of teachers, the Premier has no problem opening the vault for top bureaucrats already earning six-figure salaries.

Instead of making life sweeter for those at the top of the pay scale, he should be working hard to reach a fair deal with teachers and other front line public servants.
