Congratulations Peter Bevan-Baker and PEI Greens!

TORONTO — Baker and the Green Party of PEI for winning the most Green seats in Canadian history.

Tonight, PEI made history–electing the biggest provincial Green caucus in Canada.

I want to congratulate candidates of all political stripes in the PEI election. In a campaign beset by tragedy, all parties showed incredible class and integrity by suspending activities in the final days after the sudden death of Josh Underhay and his son.

Congratulations to Dennis King and the PEI PC party for their win today.

I am so excited to congratulate Peter Bevan-Baker and the Green Party of PEI for winning the most Green seats in Canadian history.

This upending of traditional politics shows how hungry voters are for a new way of doing politics. Greens are sparking hope in politics again with leaders who bring a fresh voice, honesty and positive solutions.

Thank you to Peter Bevan-Baker and the Green team in PEI for being a vote people can believe in.
