Valerie Powell and Mike Schreiner talk Food and Water in Simcoe North

Tiny, ON – Green Party of Ontario candidate Valerie Powell, Green Party of Ontario leader Mike Schreiner and federal candidate Peter Stubbins will be holding a media availability at 3 PM on Friday, August 14, 2015.
They will visit the Stubbins’ organic community food garden to discuss the Green Party’s plan to address food security and to protect prime farmland and source water in Simcoe North. Ontario has the potential to lose food self-sufficiency within the next 25 years, and urgent action must be taken.
Mrs. Powell, Mr. Stubbins, and Mr. Schreiner will be available to answer questions from the media.
Mrs. Powell and Mr. Schreiner will also be touring the Orillia Farmers Market on Saturday morning.
